Khadimpur Welfare Association UK Stands with the Family of Late Basit Miah
Respected members of the Khadimpur Welfare Association UK and dear fellow villagers,
Assalamualaikum.
On Sunday, January 19th, 2025, our dedicated executive members Kamal Miah and Asab Uddin, along with our esteemed trustees and respected elders, presented a cheque to the family of the late Basit Miah at the Khadimpur Welfare Association UK office in Newmarket.
On Monday, November 11th, 2024, we launched a vital appeal to raise funds for Basit Miah’s treatment following his cancer diagnosis. It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of his passing on Saturday, November 30th, 2024—Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. During this incredibly challenging time, we are immensely grateful for your remarkable support, which enabled us to raise an impressive total of Taka 604,440.00, consisting of Taka 597,400.00 in contributions and a bank incentive of Taka 7,040.00.
We sincerely thank everyone who participated and contributed to this cause. Your generosity will significantly impact the lives of the deceased’s family during this difficult period. Thank you for standing together as a community.
